Summer Mornings

are on my list of favorite things. Along with blogging 2 days in a row. I hope I can keep this crazy pace up! Collin and I spend most of the morning in our backyard digging for worms to feed to the turtles, playing with the hose, mowing the lawn, splashing in the water table, drinking coffee, spraying the gnats that took over our hibiscus while we were in the coast, picking vegetables from our garden. Of course we have to do all these things before it gets to be 108* and our feet burn on the concrete. Good times, I tell ya. Oh yeah, and whoever made up the spelling of the word gnat may have also been the speller of the word hmong. I want to meet that guy. I know it's a guy because girls don't do crap like that.
Just rinsing out the ear wax.
What is cuter than a little one running around in their diaper mowing the lawn?
Only one thing is cuter, and that is this baby's little naked butt. It even makes Kim Kardashian jealous. She told me. True story.

Why don't the tomatoes in the store ever have the split lines, like they grew so fast they literally burst through their skin? The ugly ones always taste the best. Which means this one is going to be delicious!

I think this picture is hilarious because Collin is so excited he flared his nostrils like Puff the magic dragon!
How do you spend your mornings?

4th of July

We celebrated the 4th of July in Cayucos with Cameron's family. The weather was beautiful, food was delicious and the parties were a blast. Cameron's Mom and Aunt Jean threw a party for Cameron and his cousin Ashley and husband Robbie on the 3rd. They all turn the big dirty thirty around the same time. Karaoke was a big hit! I'm pretty sure Collin wants to be a singer when he grows up. Then we watched the parade the morning of the 4th. Such a great traditon. Thanks Don and Joan for 5 days of beach fun!

Collin loves the ocean! He would cry every time we tried to bring him back to the towels and sand toys. He just wanted to run wild in the water.

David Hasselhoff's got nothin' on me!

Party Time! DJ C Money on the mic.

Lady Gaga
Rocco and Collin loved singing.
We had a great time at the parade. Cameron and I both grew up coming to Cayucos so it is such a sweet memory to make with our son!
What says proud to be an American more than red, white and blue fur balls on your head? Seriously?

Collin loves playing with Ashley and Helen.
All American boy!

Park time after the parade.

A great lunch in Morro Bay overlooking the water and sailboats.

Watching the surfers.

We hope you had a great 4th of July! We sure did. I ♥ Cayucos.
